How the draw works
The full deck of 78 cards, the 22 of the Major Arcana and the 56 of the four suits, is shuffled in your browser, and every card has the same chance of coming up. If you tick the box for reversed cards, the card also has an even chance of landing upside down. Many readers ignore reversals, so the box starts unticked.
Your card is kept on this device until midnight, so you can come back to it during the day. Readers often suggest living with one card for a day rather than drawing again until one feels right; if you do want a fresh card, there is a button for it under the result.
How to use a daily card
- Draw in the morning, read the meaning and note the question.
- During the day, notice where the theme shows up, if it does at all.
- In the evening, look back: did the card help you see anything more clearly?
Kept up for a few weeks, a short note each day becomes a record of what you were thinking about, which is where most of the value lies.
What the card can and cannot tell you
Tarot is a tool for reflection, not a proven way to predict events. A card drawn here does not know what will happen to you, and no card is a warning. Cards that look alarming, such as Death, The Tower or the Ten of Swords, are read by serious readers as symbols of change, not as literal events, and each guide explains why.
