Why your Vedic sign may not match your horoscope
Western astrology fixes the zodiac to the seasons. Vedic astrology fixes it to the stars. Over the centuries the two have drifted about 24 degrees apart, so for roughly four in five birthdays the Sun sign is different in the two systems. Neither is wrong; they measure from different starting points.
